Job summary

ND Paper is seeking an Electrical Technician in Langhorne, PA to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and install electrical systems supporting safe plant operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Required are a high school diploma or GED with technical training in electrical technology and 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical certificate, associate degree, or vocational training in electrical technology, industrial electricity, or related field required.
Electrician’s license is preferred but not required.
Two or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-equipment environment preferred.
Experience troubleshooting motors, electrical controls, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production equipment and control systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
Inspect, test, and repair electrical components, panels, and wiring.
Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
