Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in New Kensington is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing operation. The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair needs to keep production running.

Qualified candidates will have strong electrical experience with PLCs, and be able to read schematics and OEM manuals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong electrical troubleshooting experience including 480V, 240V, and 24V systems.
Experience with PLCs, industrial machinery, and preventive maintenance programs.
Willingness to respond to off-shift and weekend maintenance needs when required.
Attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment.
Perform maintenance on PLC hardware and software, electrical panels, drives, motors, bearings, shafts, pulleys, and related components.
Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
Complete preventive maintenance on manufacturing and machining equipment according to OEM specifications.
Maintain facility systems including minor plumbing and commercial HVAC equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Other duties as required.
