Job summary

Domtar in Hawesville, Kentucky seeks an Electrical Reliability Engineer to lead design and project management for electrical systems across the mill. The role includes DCS maintenance, software development, contractor management, and startup verification for projects up to $15 million.

You will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safety and reliability, spec electrical drawings, and drive economical solutions with strong attention to safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong safety culture and experience designing safety into projects.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering and project management for electrical systems.
• Provide DCS hardware maintenance, software development and revisions.
• Manage contractors; develop cost estimates and scheduling for projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues; lead startup and verification.
