Job summary

You will coordinate with the mill and power provider and drive capital projects in line with NFPA70E and the National Electrical Code.

The role involves upgrading AC/DC variable speed drives, motors, PLCs, MCCs, and maintaining asset reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Proficiency with pc-based office tools; AutoCAD experience.
• 5–7 years' experience in manufacturing or power distribution management.
• 3+ years' experience in AC variable speed drives and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and implement key improvements in the power distribution network.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement capital improvements on Paper Machines and supporting equipment.
• Lead reliability improvement and asset management efforts.
• Ensure correct specifications, standards, tools, and safety practices are in place.
• Manage relationships between the mill, the corporation, and supplies/contractors.
