Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade electrical systems across our facilities. You will design, install and service electrical equipment, PLC and VFD controls, and analyze equipment performance to drive reliability.

The role requires strong reading of schematics, precise documentation, and the ability to respond to call-outs to keep production lines running.

Qualifications

• Must understand operational equipment flow and interlocking.
• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and repair manuals.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and electrical control panels.
• Strong preventive maintenance and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, design and install electrical equipment.
• Support operations with process improvements and predictive maintenance.
• Respond to call-outs to keep equipment running and fix issues promptly.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical manuals and drawings.
• Requisition parts and document work per company policies.
• Operate SAP for maintenance activities and recordkeeping.
