Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain production and quality by ensuring proper operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities at our facility in Ohio. The role requires troubleshooting complex equipment and minimizing downtime through rapid repairs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to complete assignments without supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime up to 12 hours per day.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose faults and plan corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Machine Operators to diagnose and fix problems.
• Complete paperwork accurately per company guidelines.
• Document work in orders and ensure proper performance.
• Understand power transmissions, gearboxes, conveyors and welding processes.
• Identify defects in bearings, belts, gaskets, and seals.
• Utilize maintenance software programs.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain good housekeeping.
• Handle after-hours and off-shift duties as needed to maintain production.
