Job summary
Pratt Industries, Inc. seeks a skilled Electrician to join our plant team.
You will ensure industrial electrical systems for corrugated paper manufacturing equipment, conveyors, and plant infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration and testing of sensors, and upgrades to improve performance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial electrician experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Journeyman license preferred.
- Experience with NEC/OSHA safety standards and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for machinery and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on production lines.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Calibrate and test sensors and instruments used in production processes.
- Repair or upgrade components to improve performance or energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for system integration.
- Document maintenance work and modifications for records and compliance.
- Provide emergency response for electrical failures to restore operations promptly.
- Train junior technicians on safety practices and troubleshooting procedures.
