Job summary

Pratt Industries seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports production maintenance across the facility.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, PLC-driven troubleshooting, interpreting diagrams, and completing logs. Strong English communication and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school certs are a plus.
• Proficiency with electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong ability to read mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and drive systems.
• Able to perform basic mathematics and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant machinery, building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including PLCs and drives.
• Review mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics and manuals to complete tasks.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed or solutions implemented.
• Maintain inventory of parts and document maintenance logs/work orders.
• Promote safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance personnel.
