Job summary

Pratt Industries in Georgia is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for maintaining production equipment, facilities and assets. You will provide primary troubleshooting support for complex equipment used in production to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance, reading schematics, and adherence to safety policies. You will participate in 5S and GMP practices, support continuous improvement, and train others as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Education/training in a skilled trade related to industrial maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and electrical devices.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Customer service oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/building maintenance issues.
• Provide support for production and production equipment to reach optimum capabilities.
• Establish root cause analysis on equipment failures.
• Support project work and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support 5S systems and GMP compliance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Adjust or repair equipment to meet production schedules.
• Expand knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures and technologies.
• Other duties as needed.
