Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments.

You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining uptime and safety by servicing power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and OEM specs.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect components, wiring and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate and service equipment to ensure reliability.
• Test power distribution systems, controls and motors for proper operation.
• Document inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Maintain accurate technical reports and job records.
