Job summary

Amteck, a national electrical design-build contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support industrial uptime. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in manufacturing environments, ensuring NFPA 70B and NETA standards compliance.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, controls, and related components, document inspections and tests, and contribute to safety programs.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and electrical testing.
• Strong safety mindset and knowledge of NFPA 70E.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect electrical components for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate and service electrical equipment.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors.
• Assess equipment condition and maintenance risks.
• Apply LOTO, arc-flash awareness, and safety reviews.
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
• Document inspections, tests, and actions.
• Communicate work status with customers and team.
• Enforce company and site safety requirements.
• Participate in field training and ongoing certifications.
