Job summary

Amteck, a national design-build electrical contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA compliance to keep facilities running safely.

The role emphasizes uptime, power distribution, motors, controls, and documentation, with opportunities to train on NFPA 70E and safety practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential electrical faults.
Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections to identify wear, contamination, or damage.
Clean, lubricate, and mechanically service electrical equipment to ensure proper performance and longevity.
Perform electrical testing on power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors to verify proper functionality.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, corrective actions, and recommendations.
