Job summary
Amteck in the United States is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments, ensuring NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards compliance for reliable operations.
You will inspect, test, and service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls, maintain documentation, follow LOTO and arc-flash safety practices, and support health and safety initiatives while traveling up
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong understanding of NEC rules and OSHA/NFPA/70E safety standards.
- Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
- Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
- Inspect components and wiring for wear or damage.
- Service electrical equipment to maintain performance and longevity.
- Test power distribution systems, motors, and controls for proper function.
- Maintain safety practices including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
- Document inspections, results, and corrective actions.
- Communicate with customers and team members about equipment condition.
