Job summary
Nationwide Technical Search is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Anniston, AL. Onsite, permanent role with relocation assistance and benefits.
The candidate will maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting, with a focus on reliability and safety. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing control systems, wiring panels, and supporting preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servos, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Maintain and install industrial control systems, including 24V control and 480V power systems.
- Install and support VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and temperature controls.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Design, layout, and wire electrical panels as needed.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain equipment records.
- Support production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
