Talent Pros Recruiting Specialists is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Engineer in the Decatur, AL area to support the chemical plant power system needs for continuous and batch processes. The role emphasizes maintaining and improving site electrical systems and equipment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years in AC/DC drives, power distribution, PLCs, HMIs, and DCS systems, plus experience in Facility Engineering and safety analyses such as

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 2 years experience with AC/DC drives and motors, low and medium power distribution, substations, and power distribution equipment.
Experience and knowledge with PLC, HMIs, instruments, and DCS systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Facility Engineering
Desired RCFA and FMEA, Thermography, and Motor Circuit Analysis. Prior experience in Chemical Manufacturing with Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Electrical Engineering support to the chemical plant power system needs for continuous and batch processes.
Maintain and update plant electrical single line diagrams and Arc Flash Analysis / Labeling.
Serve as AHJ for NFPA 70E compliance.
Specify appropriate Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
Collaborate with I&E Technicians and Management.
Train co-workers as needed and participate in safety reviews.
