Job summary

Ameron Pole Products in Anniston, AL is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mechanical and electrical tasks across plant systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical fixtures. You will use tools and test equipment to diagnose problems and implement repairs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
Crane, welding and PLC experience preferred; ladder logic is a plus.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical applications.
Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems using tools and test equipment.
Repair high voltage electrical controls and equipment.
Install and repair electrical systems following schematics and blueprints.
Troubleshoot production equipment and coordinate with contractors as needed.
Maintain preventative maintenance program and critical spare parts inventory.
Inspect cranes and lifting equipment per standards.
Observe safety rules and perform other duties as assigned.
