Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate degree program in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, OR two (2) years of related industrial electrical experience required heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Must have experience reading electrical schematics.
• Industrial electrical knowledge verified by verbal testing of AC/DC theory, schematics and electrical blueprint reading.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Mastery of basic required principles, tool usage, and successfully pass a hands-on test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Install and test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Document work performed to complete current ISO standards.
• Maintain license or identification as required by governmental regulations.
