Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed distillery and beverage production facility in Montgomery, AL. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems to keep production safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with automated manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in production.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated equipment.
• Perform PM, PdM, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and tools.
• Support production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, compressors, packaging, filling, bottling/canning, and process equipment.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment.
• Utilize SAP/CMMS to document work orders and equipment history.
• Conduct RCA and implement continuous improvement for asset reliability.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Support autonomous maintenance and operator training; participate in daily meetings.
• Follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures; maintain 5S workplace.
