Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Montgomery, AL is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support high-speed distillery and beverage production equipment. This on-site role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, maintenance of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will perform PM/PdM, diagnose failures from schematics, and collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing/beer/food/beverage.
• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
• Perform PM, PdM, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and troubleshooting tools.
• Support production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, compressors, packaging equipment and process lines.
