Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Montgomery, AL is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support a high‑speed distillery and beverage production facility on 2nd or 3rd shift. The role covers troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems across the plant.

The ideal candidate brings strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with automated equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or beverage facilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and safety best practices.
• Experience with SAP/CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation equipment.
• Perform PM, PdM, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose failures using schematics and instrumentation.
• Support production to minimize downtime and improve asset reliability.
• Document work orders and equipment history in SAP/CMMS.
• Lead RCAs and continuous improvement activities.
