Daksta is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Michigan to lead the cost estimation of large-scale industrial electrical projects. You will analyze plans, collaborate with project teams, and prepare detailed take-offs using Accubid and Bluebeam.

The role requires a strong background in industrial electrical systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level electrical estimator with industrial project focus.
• Proficiency in Accubid and Bluebeam software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and standards in industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial electrical projects.
• Analyze specs, drawings, and docs to determine requirements.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders on estimates.
• Create take-offs and cost breakdowns using Accubid and Bluebeam.
• Assess risks and opportunities and propose mitigations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials and labor costs.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for alignment.
• Assist in bid proposals and client presentations.
• Mentor junior estimators as needed.
