Job summary

Electrex Industrial Solutions is seeking an Electrical Estimator - Project Manager to join our team. The role focuses on estimating and managing electrical projects for industrial and commercial facilities, including coordination with PMs, foremen, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Michigan license and extensive electrical experience, with the ability to read blueprints, manage project finances, and prepare accurate quotes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Michigan Journeyman or Masters license.
• Ten years of combined electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Commercial and/or industrial estimating experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Presentable with strong communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Ability to manage crew leaders and subcontractors.
• Read electrical blueprints.
• DTE Primary Service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new sales leads and meet with clients or participate in walk-throughs.
• Estimate projects based on scope of work or blueprints provided.
• Coordinate with the PM team for additional information as needed.
• Prepare quote notes for the front office to produce written quotes.
• Submit quotes and discuss details with clients.
• Manage awarded projects and communicate with clients, general contractors, and various team members.
• Oversee project financials from start to finish and write change orders as needed.
• Oversee monthly invoicing for all projects.
