Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead and deliver accurate electrical estimates for complex projects, including distribution centers, automotive manufacturing, and data centers. You will interpret drawings, manage bid data, and collaborate with PMs, engineers, and contractors to build competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy industrial electrical estimation, a BS in a related field, strong Accubid experience, and proven ability to estimate projects around $50M

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of heavy industrial electrical estimation experience.
• Experience estimating projects around $50M.
• Proficiency with Accubid and estimation tools.
• Strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical drawings and specifications to estimate materials, labor, equipment, and subs.
• Understand bid depository regulations to ensure compliant bids.
• Utilize Accubid to develop and maintain project cost controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather estimate data.
• Review cost discrepancies and variances for management review.
• Participate in bid/proposal meetings, presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Support team with related tasks as needed.
