Job summary

A leading electrical contracting company in Detroit is seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join their team. You will assist with bidding and business development, perform estimates at various design levels, and manage multiple projects. Ideal candidates will have over two years of estimating experience, proficiency in estimating software, and excellent leadership and communication skills. A Journeyman Electrical License is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have over two years of estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Working knowledge of electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bidding and business development.
• Perform estimates at different levels of design.
• Visit job sites to clarify scope and prepare estimates.

Skills

Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and blueprints

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Strong communication skills

Education

Over two years of estimating experience in the electrical industry

Journeyman Electrical License (preferred)
