Job summary

Veolia seeks an Electrical Engineer to support plant operations at our Ohio site as part of the Acid Technology Center network. You will lead safety, process, and mechanical improvements while coordinating with SES resources to deliver reliable, high-quality outputs at lower costs.

You will engage in design, startup, and monitoring of new or improved processes, interact with customers and contractors, and travel as needed to support projects and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with industrial or commercial power generation systems.
• Experience with diesel and/or natural gas generators, switchgear, ATS, and generator controls.
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking.
• Reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, PLC logic, and specs.
• Willingness to travel to customer or project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, process, mechanical and product quality improvements.
• Develop and implement process improvement programs to reduce costs and improve uptime.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with site personnel and external partners on capital projects and startups.
• Provide technical support for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
