Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in an industrial chemical plant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in chemical plant operations.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Collaborate with process engineers, maintenance teams, and other departments on plant projects and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment and systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical issues.
• Assist in budgeting, procurement, and vendor management related to electrical components and services.
