Job summary

Veolia is seeking an EI&C Engineer to lead electrical and instrumentation design for water treatment facilities in the U.S. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, safe and efficient control systems.

You will design, review and implement control architectures, perform instrumentation selections, and support commissioning and FATs, CVTs, and site tests while managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant or related experience in industrial control design.
• Experience with complex industrial control system design.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GA’s, process design guidelines) and apply engineering best practices.
• Interpret, comment and follow contract and customer specifications.
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities with safety in mind.
• Design detailed electrical systems for water facilities (single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, networks, panels) with safety focus.
• Develop process control documents (Control Philosophy, Logic & Sequence Charts) for plant operation.
• Perform FATs, CVTs and checkouts as required.
• Develop automation deliverables including test plans, programs and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule and report risks to project teams.
