Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Engineer- Electrical to support day‑to‑day plant operations at the site and within the Acid Technology Center. The role leads safety, process, mechanical, and product quality improvements to lower costs and boost reliability. Travel to sites and coordination with SES teams are expected.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in power generation, SCADA/automation, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, with PLC and control systems experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience with industrial or commercial power generation systems.
• Experience with diesel and/or natural gas generators, switchgear, ATS, and generator controls.
• Experience with SCADA, industrial networking, and remote monitoring.
• Reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, PLC logic, and technical specifications.
• Willingness to travel to customer or project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day plant operations and performance vs operating goals.
• Lead safety, process, mechanical, and product quality improvements.
• Develop and implement process improvement programs and best practices (safety, capacity, uptime, quality, yield, cost).
• Support Process Safety Management and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with SES sites and external customers/contractors.
