Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a proactive Construction Manager to lead complex industrial and electrical projects. You will drive execution, coordinate across teams, and serve as the primary on-site contact for project delivery from planning through turnover.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing budgets and schedules, and enforcing safety initiatives with district operations. Travel up to 50% and close collaboration with commercial teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in construction management, including at least 5 years leading electrical, industrial or general construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or electrical engineering preferred.
• PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to coordinate across teams, manage safety initiatives, and drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle project delivery—from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Review technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff.
• Utilize project management tools to track milestones and ensure on-site execution stays on course.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Coordinate work across trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
• Oversee project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, and ownership transfer.
