Job summary

Reworld in Fort Myers, FL seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain industrial electrical and control systems. You will diagnose, repair, and calibrate equipment ranging from 120V to 13.8kV, including boilers, switchgear, DCS, and CEMS components.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with technical training and 3+ years of power plant maintenance experience. A rotating on-call schedule and overtime may apply, with on-site duties at the Fort Myers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with technical training preferred.
• Minimum three years as a maintenance electrician in a power plant or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of 120V to 13.8kV and AC switchgear.
• Ability to read blueprints and control system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on industrial plant electrical distribution systems in a waste-to-energy facility.
• Test and maintain low/medium voltage switchgear, breakers, motor starters, and transformers.
• Troubleshoot DCS and historian devices and perform preventative maintenance including calibration.
• Calibrate and test instrumentation such as transmitters, RTDs, and thermocouples.
• Participate in plant shutdowns and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
