Job summary

Powerserve Technologies seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support industrial electrical construction and instrumentation work in the Naples, Florida area. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot power, control, and field instrumentation systems on water/wastewater facilities and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong safety focus, and the ability to work independently or with a team on demanding projects.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an Electrical, E&I, Instrumentation, or Industrial Electrical Technician.
Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, utilities, power generation, or water/wastewater facilities.
Ability to install and terminate electrical and instrumentation systems.
Experience reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and troubleshoot power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
Install conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, and associated electrical equipment.
Install and wire motors, VFDs, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
Install field instrumentation, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature devices.
Perform instrument terminations, loop checks, and functional testing.
Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and construction documents.
Verify proper installation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and testing.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Work collaboratively with electricians, controls technicians, engineers, and project management.
