Job summary

Powerserve Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support industrial electrical construction and instrumentation work in the Naples, Florida area. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background and experience wiring, installing, and troubleshooting instrumentation for industrial or water/wastewater facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and teamwork, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

3+ years as Electrical, E&I, instrumentation, or industrial electrical technician.
Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, utilities, or water/wastewater facilities.
Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and troubleshoot power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
Install conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, and associated electrical equipment.
Install and wire motors, VFDs, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
Install field instrumentation, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature devices.
Perform instrument terminations, loop checks, and functional testing.
Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and construction documents.
Verify proper installation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and testing.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Work collaboratively with electricians, controls technicians, engineers, and project management.
