Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA seeks a Repair Engineering Specialist II to evaluate, troubleshoot, test, and support repairs for low- and medium-voltage drives, soft starters, motors, and related equipment.

You will act as a technical resource across repair operations and service planning to maximize equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. The role requires 2+ years in automation/repair, ability to read schematics, ERP experience, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial automation, repair operations or aftermarket technical support.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of WEG products and systems.
• Diagnose failures in drives, soft starters, motors, control systems.
• Prepare repair quotations and identify replacement parts.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Field Service, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Maintain repair records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and training of teammates.
