Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Service Engineering Specialist II to join our Automation team in Duluth, GA.

You will provide technical support for LV Drives, Soft Starters, PLCs, and HMIs, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and product management to improve products and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
3–7 years of experience supporting industrial automation, drives, controls, or related technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote connection for WEG Automation products (LV Drives, Soft Starters, PLCs, HMIs).
Troubleshoot electrical, control, programming, and communication issues using diagnostic processes.
Perform remote diagnostics and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate on-site intervention when necessary and escalate to Field Service or Senior Support.
Support Field Service Engineers with technical guidance and expertise.
Document interactions, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the support database.
Identify product non-conformities and support warranty, quality, and engineering investigations.
