Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Development Manager for our New York/New Jersey market. This role leads land and building developments, including entitlements, design and construction of ground-up industrial facilities in those markets.

The position reports to the VP, Development Officer, requiring strong communication and project oversight across budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and permitting, with the team based in East Rutherford, NJ and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial development, entitlements, approvals, and construction.
• Computer proficiency: Bluebeam, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD viewer.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Proactivity, resilience, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consultants and contractors to meet regional objectives.
• Develop and manage projects from $1M to $50M in development cost.
• Coordinate the development process with land and building acquisitions and design teams.
• Schedule, budgeting and planning of real estate development projects.
• Oversee AHJ approvals from acquisition through completion.
• Provide pre-construction estimating and conduct on-site inspections.
