Job summary

Prologis in Dallas seeks a Development Manager to lead land and building development for speculative industrial and warehouse projects from acquisition support through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, consultants, contractors, permitting and construction execution.

Based in the Dallas office, you will collaborate with Development, Deployment, Leasing, and Investment teams and report to the VP – Development Officer. Travel up to 20% and a focus on safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a similar development role.
Experience with industrial development, cost estimating, permitting, and construction management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Google Earth, AutoCAD Viewer, Autodesk Forma, and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to travel up to 20% within assigned markets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project budgets, identify risks, and track costs across land, infrastructure, and building development.
Develop feasibility studies, site plans and project budgets with very limited information.
Lead multiple development projects from planning through closeout, including procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
