Job summary

Prologis seeks a Development Manager for Seattle, Portland and Denver markets to oversee land and building developments from entitlements to construction. The role requires coordinating with development, deployment and leasing teams, and driving project success with strong communication and leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management, plus experience with industrial development and approvals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Experience in industrial development, land approvals, development entitlements, design management, permitting and construction.
• Computer proficiency: Bluebeam, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD viewer.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving.
• Resilient with a strong continuous-improvement mindset.
• Thrives in a rapidly changing and challenging environment.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency and production.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consultants and contractors to meet regional capital deployment goals.
• Develop, tender, and manage projects from $1,000,000 to $50,000,000+ in development cost.
• Coordinate and monitor all facets of the development process from land/building acquisitions to approvals.
• Hire and manage design professionals, consultants, and general contractors.
• Schedule, budget, and plan real estate development projects.
• Lead AHJ approval processes from acquisition through completion.
• Provide estimating for development scope and lifecycle costs.
• Conduct on-site inspections of safety, quality and progress.
• Close out projects and hand off to operations.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
