Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas in La Porte, TX is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist- Industrial (Customer Service Representative). The CSR serves as a key contact for customers, processes orders, prepares quotes, provides product information, and coordinates with sales, warehouse, and operations to ensure accurate fulfillment.

You will work with SAP Business One and Zendesk, handle inquiries, review purchase orders for pricing and terms, coordinate shipments, and maintain customer records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or technical environment.
• Experience with ERP systems required (SAP preferred).
• Zendesk or similar CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries
• Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Review customer purchase orders for pricing, terms, and accuracy
• Provide product information, availability, and delivery updates
• Track, expedite, and coordinate shipments to meet customer needs
• Process returns, credits, and customer concerns as needed
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to outside sales
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order or service issues
• Utilize SAP Business One, Zendesk, and other business systems
