Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Houston, TX to act as a central contact for customers. The role emphasizes processing orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating with sales, warehouse and operations to ensure timely fulfillment.

The incumbent will respond to inquiries, review PO pricing and terms, provide product information, and track shipments. Requires 3+ years in customer service or inside sales, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and CRM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or technical environment.
• Experience with ERP systems required (SAP preferred).
• Zendesk or similar CRM experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries.
• Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Review customer purchase orders for pricing, terms, and accuracy.
• Provide product information, availability, and delivery updates.
• Track, expedite, and coordinate shipments to meet customer needs.
• Process returns, credits, and customer concerns as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to outside sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order or service issues.
