Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas is hiring a Sales Support Representative to assist the Sales team with customer-focused service and inventory management. You will coordinate quotes, orders, and communications, while working across Sales, Customer Relations, VMI, Warehouse, and Will Call to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ related work experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with Microsoft Office; SAP and CRM experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience in small-parts warehousing, route sales, or inventory management preferred.
• Strong mechanical comprehension and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Swagelok product knowledge is a plus.
• SAP and CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quotes, orders, and customer communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Manage customer inventory and monitor trends to anticipate needs.
• Execute account strategies with Sales.
• Support Warehouse, VMI, and Will Call processes.
• Learn and support Swagelok equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform daily cycle counts and ensure accurate inventory.
• Receive, pick, pack, and ship products accurately.
• Inspect returns and non-conforming materials; resolve issues.
• Maintain departmental metrics and support process improvements.
