Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the Godfrey, IL plant on 1st shift. You will install, repair, and maintain diverse industrial equipment, with emphasis on belt conveyors. Welding and fabrication tasks are required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Extensive belt conveyor experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair conveyor belts and shredding equipment.
• Assist in installation and repair of machinery.
• Cutting and welding including light steel fabrication.
• Perform maintenance duties as assigned.
