Job summary

Talnt is seeking a skilled Controls Technician in Raleigh, NC to maintain and troubleshoot industrial production equipment, including heat treating furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and related systems. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, safety discipline, and the ability to read schematics.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support field installations, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls issues.
• Repair furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and related systems.
• Read manuals, schematics, and drawings for troubleshooting.
• Support field installations and equipment installations at customer sites.
• Engage in continuous improvement for reliability and safety.
• Travel to customer locations as needed (occasional).
