Job summary

DO Supply LLC is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician to join our production team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on testing, refurbishing, repairing, and calibrating industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, drives, and HMIs.

You will troubleshoot using schematics and diagnostic tools, document results, and ensure quality before shipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically minded and comfortable in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical certification in electronics or industrial automation is preferred.
• At least 2 years in industrial automation, electronics, repair, or related field.
• Experience with soldering (through-hole and SMT) is beneficial.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair, calibrate, and refurbish industrial automation equipment including PLCs, drives, HMIs, motors, and control devices.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Verify repairs and functionality with testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Configure and program automation devices and verify communications.
• Document repair activities and equipment status in company systems.
• Perform quality inspections prior to shipment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations to support orders.
• Maintain and improve testing equipment and workstations.
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced technicians.
