Job summary

Talnt is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to maintain and repair industrial production equipment and facility systems. The role covers heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyors, robotics, and related machinery, with a 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic issues on furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections following procedures and safety standards.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to support maintenance work.
• Do welding, pipe fitting, and mechanical assembly as needed.
• Support field engineering activities, including installation and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Identify opportunities for preventive maintenance optimization and safety improvements.
