Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment in a climate-controlled facility in North Carolina. You will focus on minimizing downtime, supporting production reliability, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will work with PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, documenting activities in CMMS and collaborating with production to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining highly automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, and CNC systems.

Responsibilities

• Document maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in CMMS.
• Diagnose and repair plant machinery such as lathes, mills, presses, conveyors, and motors.
• Work with PLCs, CNCs, and robotic systems to perform corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems using testing tools.
• Interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints to resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Support automated equipment including robotic welders and multi-axis robots.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize work and keep operations running.
• Maintain safety and quality by following procedures and ensuring proper protections.
