Job summary

Thermo-Trol Systems is looking for an Industrial Field Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation. This role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and programming knowledge and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA software and programming tools.
• Familiarity with VFDs and electrical power distribution.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test industrial control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and manuals for installation.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians for system integration.
• Document service activities and configurations accurately and on time.
• Communicate status and resolutions clearly to clients.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and travel to sites.
