Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC. is seeking a Control System Technician to provide technical support and field coordination for control system projects and service teams.

The role requires traveling to client locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of control systems. Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in the field and proven hands-on experience with instrument loops, HMI, and PLC applications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years industry experience.
• 2+ years as Control System Technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Wire instruments and control panels.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Document work performed accurately.
• Understand control system design concepts.
• Overnight travel may be required.
