Job summary
Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Control System Technician to support field installations, startup, maintenance and FAT for client control systems across multiple locations. The role requires hands-on experience with instrument loops, wiring, and PLC/HMI applications. Travel to client sites is up to 100%.
This position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to project schedules. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience and an Associate degree or equivalent in engineering
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering technology or related field.
- 2+ years industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record: 2+ years as Control System Technician or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start‑up and commissioning of control systems.
- Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
- Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Wire instruments and control panels.
- Demonstrate understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
- Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
- Document work performed and maintain QMS procedures.
- Support IT system concepts related to control system integration.
