Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking a student in electrical engineering to perform controls testing and develop software for industrial control systems in a modern thermal lab. You will interact with customers during witness testing and assist with RFIs about BAC's controls systems.

The role involves selecting components, designing control systems, and maintaining the controls hardware library with configuration data.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in electro-mechanical control systems is preferred.
Knowledge of Negative Feedback Control Theory and PID design is desirable.
Experience with software development processes and software testing is a plus.
Demonstrated skills in technical writing.
Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office and CAD products.
Lab testing experience including instrumentation and measurement techniques is a plus.
Structured text programming (C/C++/C#/Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform controls testing and generate test reports in BAC's state-of-the-art thermal lab
