Job summary
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team supporting a major online retailer. You will work with controls and maintenance professionals to maximize reliability of conveyors, sortation systems, cameras, scanners, and SCADA programs, while improving preventive maintenance and operational performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
- 2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
- 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
- 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by complying with codes and directives related to system operations and safety.
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC).
- Act as first level escalation in troubleshooting on-site and remote, during and after hours.
